Privacy Policy
We are committed to implementing all available measures to protect the information you provide as part of the .pr domain name registration service. We will never share the information you provide with third parties and will enforce all measures within our reach to prevent any unauthorized disclosure or access.
By requesting and actively using our services, you agree that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy, as well as other policies available at web.pr.
1. Information we collect
We collect information about your activity on our website tu.pr, including information about transactions carried out in the system, as well as information about payments made, physical address, names, email addresses, and phone numbers of the required contacts. We also collect information about the DNS of each registered domain name.
Except for information required to be made public through WHOIS, we will not share, disclose, or transfer to third parties any information submitted by you.
2. How we use your data
We use your information exclusively for the purpose of providing the contracted services, conducting system audits, identifying service trends and patterns, as well as developing internal marketing strategies and sending you notifications about the service or additional services available to you.
We may also use your information to comply with requests from law enforcement or judicial authorities when required by order. We will never use your information for purposes other than those stated herein.

Any client wishing to use the domain name registration service through tu.pr must provide personal information that will be publicly available in WHOIS lookup (afilias-srs.net). This information includes full name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
As part of the validation process, you must provide reliable proof of residence in Puerto Rico. Examples include:

This information will be used solely for the validation process and will be retained by us for as long as reasonably necessary. We will take all available measures to protect its integrity and all information submitted by you during the application process.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: keeping you logged in, protecting forms and remembering your language.
The main ones are: the session cookie and the form-security cookie (deleted when you close the browser or shortly after), the one that keeps your customer session logged in, and a cookie that remembers you saw the cookie notice (it lasts one year).
Some pages load third-party services such as hCaptcha (spam protection), Stripe (card payments), analytics and statistics tools (for example Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity) and chat (for example Tawk.to), which may set their own cookies under their own policies.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site, such as logging in or paying, may stop working.
5. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or about your data, email us at support@tu.pr or call 787-753-5869.
