DNS Management in Puerto Rico
DNS connects your domain with your site, your email and other services. We help you set it up properly, from your dashboard or with our help, without taking your site offline.
Everything about DNS Management
DNS stands for Domain Name System, and it works like the internet’s address book: it tells the world which server to go to when someone types your domain, and which server your email should reach. A badly made change can leave your site or email not working, so it is best done carefully.
From your TU.PR dashboard you can edit your domains’ DNS records, change nameservers and create child nameservers. If you prefer not to touch anything technical, we help you point your domain to your hosting, your email service or any other provider, and check that everything is working.
This is for you if…
- You are going to connect your domain to a new hosting
- You need to set up your business email
- You prefer someone to review the changes before they are applied

Frequently asked questions
How long does a DNS change take to apply?
It depends on the change, but it can take from a few minutes up to a few hours to be seen everywhere. That is why important changes are best planned.
Can I break my site by changing the DNS?
Yes, if a wrong record is changed. Before modifying something important we recommend noting the current values; if you prefer, we do it for you.
Where do I edit my domain’s DNS?
In your dashboard, open the domain and go to the DNS section.
